"Getting
Over Break Up Advice | Coping Up Gracefully"
The
hard part of getting over a break up is that it sometimes seem like a
day job that you hate to do but you know you have to do. Sink or swim.
I would like to share with you some ways that I hope would help you
move on faster and live your life once more. Remember, you are an
amazing person even before you have met your ex. Find that amazing
person in you...again.
1. When you have just broken up,
spend one whole day by yourself
feeling entirely miserable.
I know you might be thinking what
kind of advice is that. Hear me out
first. When it comes to this kind of situations, we all need to have
some time by ourselves. So give yourself a whole day to cry, shout, get
angry, be sad. Pour out all your emotions for one whole day. Think of
everything that has happened, the good and the bad. Then at the end of
the day, dry up your eyes and know that a new day will welcome you
tomorrow.
2.
Never call your ex.
Whether you were the one who dumped or got dumped it's never a good
idea to keep calling your ex regardless if you just want to say sorry,
hi or what not.
There's a reason why you decided to break up. If you want to resolve
the issue (if it needs to be resolved) you need to heal yourself first.
You cannot fix something if you, yourself, are broken. It's time for
you to heal and be whole again.
3.
Never show up to places where you think your ex will be.
Getting over a break up will be harder if you keep wishing and wanting
to see your ex. Or if you keep on thinking that letting your ex see
that you have moved on and drive him crazy to want you back will only
make you more miserable if you don't get the reaction you want from
him. So as much as possible, be completely out of contact.
